Painting Hallways at the Manor
On May 31st through June 2nd the Interact Club painted a wall in a hallway at the Pocahontas Manor. Miss Wilford went in on Memorial Day to tape around outlets, lights, and railings before we painted. On the first day, we put our first coat of off-white paint over green and pink paint. You could still see the old paint under the new paint, so on the second day when we put our second coat on, it was a lot better. We touched up a few spots and finished the wall on the third day. High school students and paint do not always mix well, so we dripped paint every once in awhile but luckily we had rags!
