Interact Banquet
On Wednesday, May 18th, the Interact Club had its First Annual Interact Banquet in Miss Wilford's room. The event began with a potluck, followed by the regular business meeting, then an awards ceremony. We took a break after our meeting and ate homemade ice cream provided by Pocahontas Rotary. Each member received a gift bag, a Certificate of Membership, and were recognized as serving in Interact. The Service Awards were given to the three members with the most service hours: Malary Koob with 40.9 hours, Derrick Feldhans with 58.3 hours, and Noah Keolanui-Herman with 74.8 hours. The Distinguished Service Citation Award was given to Noah Keolanui-Herman from Rotary for the quality of his "service above self" in the community. Lastly, the Presidential Award was also give to Noah Keolanui-Herman for his excellent role serving as president. We enjoyed the stories, comradery, and fun that we had together! We are looking forward to another year of Interact!
