On Saturday, January 16th, our Interact club helped Marcia Hamp and her husband move to their new house across town. Members helped them move by hauling boxes and crates from their old house into the basement of their new house. Some members volunteered their cars to be used as transportation for the boxes, so everything could be taken in one swift trip! Many smiles and laughs happened along the way, and Marcia even gave the club food as a thank you for helping. Marcia and her husband were very appreciative and impressed with our help. The club also helped move some heavier furniture in their new house from the main level to the basement. Miss Wilford stayed after the students were done moving boxes to help renovate their house by tearing up the old floors. The club plans to help Marcia and her husband move two more Saturdays in the coming weeks, and we look forward to doing so!
